Dear PS 3 Families,
My name is Monique Moore and I will be serving as the Universal Literacy Reading Coach at The Bedford Village School for the 2021-22 school year. I believe that families are their children’s first teachers, so I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s growth in reading, writing and phonics.
Reading aloud to your child daily models vital reading skills and increases attention span. This time together can also foster a love of learning and expand your child’s knowledge of various concepts. In just 15 minutes, you can bond with your child over a book and help to expand his/her vocabulary across a variety of topics.
