How to Apply to Summer Rising 2026

1. Visit MySchools.nyc and add your child to your account.

Families who already have a MySchools account can simply log in.

To create a new account, visit MySchools.nyc and select “Create New Account.” Enter the required information.

To add a child to the account, enter their 9‑digit student ID number and MySchools account creation code. This information is available from the child’s school.

2. Add programs to the child’s application.

Families are encouraged to add all programs that interest them to maximize the chance of receiving an offer.

Only list programs they would genuinely like their child to attend, and rank them in true order of preference.

3. Submit the application.

The process is not first‑come, first‑served. Applications submitted any time before Friday, March 27 at 11:59 PM are treated equally.

After submitting, families will receive an email confirming receipt of the application.

Offers will be released in April. If an offer is received, it must be accepted by the deadline.
